A Day at the Races - 24 Hours of LeMons and HURFFEST
Hi! I set up my desktop computer and finally had a few minutes to post pictures from over a month ago!
I secretly hope the 200SX/Rubber Ducky is my old car.

Thoughts on 24mm
I did my walk today, as I had said. I took a kit consisting of 14, 24, 43, 50 macro, and 77 with me (all fitting within my crumpler 3-slot bag... fear the Pentax system).
Of those lenses, I only used three - 24, 50, and 77. I forced myself to use the 24 more than the others, I think, at least for a more widely varied range of situations.
I will be posting a gallery, hopefully tomorrow, with all of the shots from today that weren't horribly blown out for not paying attention to metering. Some of them turned out quite nicely, I think, but I'd like critique on the basic: considering how I prefer abusing wide-angle lenses, what do you think?

Macro at the Wildlife Refuge
And finally:
I like that last one, but I have to admit, I cheated. I wanted to take a picture that was just the silhouette of the spider against the background, but I wasn't happy with the way it turned out. On a whim, I decided to drag the blacks control all the way to 100 before deleting it and I think I'm really happy with the result.
Here's the rest. The only two lenses I took were my 16-45 and my 50/4 macro, and only the first 3 were with the zoom.
